WHY AFFIRMATIONS DON'T WORK UNTIL YOU LEARN TO DO THIS

Well for me, they didn't until I found the missing link to make them work.

In this episode, I share why affirmations don't work and what actually you can do to make them work.

I start by sharing a few examples from our own life experiences to show you the reason what is missing in the normal affirming way of "saying the words out loud".

Then I share the definition of affirmation, what is normally taught or said for it to work.

And then I dive into why it actually isn't working.


I share examples to give you deeper understanding of it and at the same time I share sayings from famous scientists and mystics of the time who understood the secret behind the affirmations.

Have you ever been in a situation

in your relation, a friend, a coworker,

who's saying all the right words to you,

But you feel like

you are not able to correct or

reverse that.

You were saying all the

opposite to you, and

you're not finding a way to connect

showing an interest.

Or how about a salesperson

trying to sell you the things

telling you all the right things

for a product that you know

that you really need,

but yet you don't buy that product,

at least from that person.

Or how about an actor in a movie

where you felt

Speaker:

the actor didn't do justice, or

Speaker:

if feel like he was overacting,

it was not delivering.

It was not natural for that actor

Speaker:

to play that character.

Speaker:

And how about a singer, singing a song

Speaker:

that's perfectly beautifully written

Speaker:

with the perfect music,

Speaker:

yet you don't feel

Speaker:

you know, the connection to the song

Speaker:

and the minute

Speaker:

somebody else gets the mic and jumps on.

Speaker:

And you are able to feel the song.

Speaker:

Same song,

Speaker:

same music, but just a different person.

Speaker:

I assume we have been in this situation

Speaker:

and we have seen it,

Speaker:

if not all, some of these situations,

Speaker:

some of these instances in our life,

Speaker:

we have experience

Speaker:

with different people ourselves

Speaker:

where, you know,

Speaker:

regardless of what

Speaker:

the role was or what the situation was,

Speaker:

we experienced that we were not able

Speaker:

to connect to the person

Speaker:

or the person

Speaker:

was not able to speak into us.

Speaker:

You know,

Speaker:

a funny example or another example

Speaker:

I thought was

Speaker:

when you are negotiating with your boss

Speaker:

or a company

Speaker:

or an interview or a customer, you know,

Speaker:

when the person in the opposite sides

Speaker:

is trying to tell you

Speaker:

that they are thinking

Speaker:

in your best interest,

Speaker:

while in your heart

Speaker:

you know what they are not.

Speaker:

There is something intuitive

Speaker:

that you are able to feel

Speaker:

that tells you and guides you that, OK,

there's something missing.

Speaker:

There's a gap between what is being said

and what you are feeling,

and so you don't know

resonate with that situation.

And it is the same with the affirmations

when it's just about words,

when you are affirming the words ONLY,

without any connection to those words.

It just sounds phony, unreal

Speaker:

to your own mind and brain,

and it was subconscious.

Speaker:

But there is a deeper reason

Speaker:

and science behind why it does not work,

which we'll discuss as we go on.

But let's start looking at affirmation.

What affirmation is

Speaker:

for people

Speaker:

who have never done an affirmation

and wondering

Speaker:

what affirmation is the literal

meaning of affirmation

is:

Process or action of affirming

is:

to something.

is:

Breaking

is:

down into the simple English.

is:

You write down what you think.

is:

And then you write down

is:

about something

is:

that you want in your life,

is:

in your future,

is:

that you currently don't have,

is:

but you desire to have those things,

is:

whether they are material,

is:

things like household job

is:

or, you know, your partner or

is:

you know, their relationship

is:

or you want to live somewhere

is:

whatever you want in your lives.

is:

So you write it down.

is:

For example, money,

is:

health, partnership, relationship.

is:

Travel,

is:

all those kind of things

is:

that we have in our mind

is:

that makes our life better, that we feel

is:

enhances our experience

is:

that gives medical life.

is:

We write it down.

is:

So once you've written down,

is:

you make a list of that and.

is:

And

is:

you write it in the present tense,

is:

as if it has happened.

is:

For example,

is:

if you wanted a lot of money,

is:

you know, I don't I am abundant

is:

who wanted a perfect partner

is:

to write down.

is:

I am living with a perfect partner

is:

in harmony and I'm enjoying it.

is:

If you wanted an ideal

is:

body, your right to,

is:

I am healthy and perfect.

is:

I'm fat.

is:

I'm enjoying my diet.

is:

I'm enjoying my fall.

is:

So this kind of thing that you write down

is:

what you want,

is:

but write it down in the present sense

is:

that as if it has already happened.

is:

And then.

is:

You pick up a tie

is:

where you

is:

stand up in the front of the mirror

is:

and you just read out loud

is:

and you continuously do it in a way

is:

to make your brain believe

is:

that it has happened.

is:

Now there's a size that tells that it's,

is:

you know, our brain does not know

is:

from what actually has happened

is:

versus is what we are making

is:

it believe it happens.

is:

But there is a key thing

is:

that makes the brain believe it.

is:

first of the thing is

is:

you have to believe it,

is:

right, that it has happened

is:

and only you can make it.

is:

Brain believe

is:

and mind

is:

and subconscious mind

is:

believe that it has happened.

is:

But all happens is most people get stuck

is:

on this step.

is:

Only the first step,

is:

which is information writing

is:

and then telling yourself this.

Nearly people get stuck on the words.

They are repeating the words day

is:

in, day out that all seem to change

is:

because somewhere in their body,

is:

their subconscious mind, it cannot

is:

make believe.

I can give you stories of

why people get stuck there,

even when they are not

is:

seeing the evidence

is:

and even when

is:

they are not seeing the results.

But maybe there is a

is:

separate episode

altogether where we talk,

Let's look at the affirmations first

and why people get stuck.

All right.

If you

remember at the beginning of the episode,

personally connected

on different situations

where we have not felt connection.

And the

number one reason

we now didn't feel that connection was

The missing link was emotion.

our attention

and connect it to what it was being said.

So in other words, whatever was being set

out in the world

lacked that emotion.

There was a gap

between the emotion

and the words being spoken.

And this is same with.

Affirmations, right, you will ever buy

something from somebody.

Where you are not feeling

is:

an action,

is:

you're not feeling

is:

something within yourself that is,

you know,

helping you make that buying decision,

is:

you're not going to have to an actor

is:

watching a movie

is:

if there was no emotion involved,

is:

if a large like a song,

is:

there were not the right emotions

is:

or if it didn't evoke

is:

the right emotions and a new body.

In order for that to happen,

the singer has to feel those emotion

is:

and transform

is:

and evoke those emotion in the right.

So affirmations aren't the same thing

is:

because your subconscious brain

is:

will ever believe in something?

is:

Well, it is not getting the signal

is:

in the form of emotions from your body.

is:

Let's say you want a partner in your life

is:

and you are affirming Daily

is:

Afzal in front of the mirror every day.

Multiple times

is:

during the day, you're telling yourself.

I am living with my perfect partner,

is:

I love my partner,

is:

the partner is taking care of me.

is:

We have a beautiful relationship.

is:

We live in harmony.

All the positive things

that you can think about in

is:

a relationship

is:

and you see those things out loud, day

is:

in, day out, every day .

You know,

is:

it doesn't work while in your mind

is:

you're feeling like that, right?

is:

So you are seeing these words out loud,

is:

but in your silence, in your mind,

is:

you're feeling like

is:

I may never find that person.

is:

Why is he or she not showing up?

is:

What is wrong with me?

is:

Why can't I never find that partner?

is:

Look around everybody else's

is:

African partner.

is:

They are living a married life.

is:

They are living happy and alive life.

is:

Why is it not working for me?

is:

So when you are making affirmations

is:

about,

is:

you know, I have the perfect partner

is:

while your silence in the talks

is:

that you are doing with yourself

is:

in the emotions

is:

that you're feeling within,

is:

there's a lack.

is:

There's a sense of lack.

is:

All right.

is:

So that creates a gap

is:

between what you're saying,

is:

what you're feeling

is:

and because you're feeling your stronger

is:

feelings and intonation

is:

is towards the lack.

is:

No matter how many

is:

times or how many years you know, you

is:

try for a mission, it will never work

is:

because you yourself

is:

do not believe in those affirmations.

is:

With those affirmations work,

is:

you have to believe them in your mind,

is:

in your body.

is:

Otherwise,

is:

those affirmations was like, Look,

is:

no matter how many times you say it.

is:

Let's look at why it will not work.

is:

See, the basic in my self-affirmation

is:

is that you speak into the universe.

is:

You are actually putting

is:

an order to the universe

is:

in the form of your words

is:

and you're saying, I am on this.

is:

But the only thing is

is:

the universe

is:

does not understand the words,

is:

the physical nature of the things

is:

it understands or to feel it understands

is:

the vibration of that energy.

is:

And that's how it responds.

is:

It responds to the vibration.

is:

So while in the words

is:

and the talking language,

is:

you are saying, good, good, good,

is:

good things, positive things.

is:

Whereas inside you are

is:

feeling like negative, you know,

is:

you're missing,

is:

you're saying that this is not working,

is:

that lacks that feeling that vibration

is:

sends a signal to the universe.

is:

It's not working and you're says, OK,

is:

you're all it is. It's not working.

is:

So here you are.

is:

It's not going to work.

is:

So, so when you say

is:

I may never have the perfect partner,

is:

I may never find this.

is:

It never works.

is:

It was cause

is:

I mean,

is:

you'll never find the perfect partner.

is:

It never works, you'll never have it.

is:

You'll always be single.

is:

You'll always be miserable.

is:

Not that.

is:

You know, that is

is:

given that he called

is:

all the single people are miserable.

is:

But is your lack of feeling miserable

is:

because not finding that

is:

relationship is actually

is:

making it miserable?

is:

It's not a secret

is:

that everything

is:

in this universe that we know

is:

the physical existence

is:

and the cosmos as energy, right?

And it's just different forms of energy.

But at the core of it, it's still energy.

So that's the science, right?

I'm not going to get deeper into it,

but you can find

I'm sure I'm not a size person,

but to my own experience,

through my own

learning, I've discovered that.

Everything at the core of it is energy.

So our thoughts, our desires,

our feelings

that all emitting energy

and all of the vibrations

right is creating vibrations.

We may not be able to sense it always.

We may not be able to feel it always.

It's still, you know,

emitting that energy,

that vibration, just like you,

we are not able to see all the current

different levels of light

and hear

is:

all the different levels of sound.

There's all these,

you know,

within the spectrum

range of things that we

that we can hear are audible to human

and the light seen with the light.

So same with just energy.

Just because we cannot see it

is:

does not mean it's does not exist.

And obviously,

you don't have to believe me.

Who am I to say all these things?

is:

I mean, as somebody on this journey

is:

who has learned some things,

is:

but here are few people

is:

that have walked

is:

before us on this earth .

And you know,

these are some of the things

they have said,

and hopefully it gives you confidence

and lets you know that, you know,

maybe there is the truth.

Now I'm

not asking you to completely believe me,

but I want you to come from the point.

Maybe, maybe there is a chance for one

pretty saying there is some truth to it.

Let me explore what that truth is.

So start with that.

because that will help you, you know

crap and learn for yourself.
